Follow the steps in this article to print 62mm X 100mm badges using the Visitor Aware Desktop application for Mac OS.
Download the Dymo Label Software
- Visit the Dymo website for label writers, and select your closest Mac OS operating system (a lower system version than your current will most likely still work): https://www.dymo.com/label-makers-printers/labelwriter-label-printers/dymo-labelwriter-450-direct-thermal-label-printer/SAP_1752264.html
- Download and install the appropriate label software
- DYMO Label Software 8.7.5 macOS 10.13 High Sierra
- DYMO Label Software 8.7.5 macOS 10.14 Mojave
- DYMO Label Software 8.7.11 macOS 10.15 Catalina
Connect and Add the Dymo LabelWriter
- Connect the Dymo LabelWriter to your Mac using the provided USB cable.
- Navigate to System Preferences, then Printers & Scanners.
- Click the Plus Symbol below the list of printers.
- Select the Dymo LabelWriter 450.
- From the Use dropdown menu, select Select Software.
- Select the printer software for the Dymo LabelWriter from the available list.
- Click the OK button. This will close the software window.
- From the Add Printer window, click the Add button.
Select your Printer in the Visitor Aware Desktop Application
- Open the Visitor Aware Desktop application.
- Navigate to the Printer Settings tab.
- Click the radio button for Dymo_LabelWriter_450.
