Follow the steps in this article to print 62mm X 100mm badges using the Visitor Aware Desktop application for Mac OS.

Download the Dymo Label Software

  1. Visit the Dymo website for label writers, and select your closest Mac OS operating system (a lower system version than your current will most likely still work):
  2. Download and install the appropriate label software

Connect and Add the Dymo LabelWriter

  1. Connect the Dymo LabelWriter to your Mac using the provided USB cable.
  2. Navigate to System Preferences, then Printers & Scanners.
  3. Click the Plus Symbol below the list of printers.



  1. Select the Dymo LabelWriter 450.


  1. From the Use dropdown menu, select Select Software.


  1. Select the printer software for the Dymo LabelWriter from the available list.
  2. Click the OK button. This will close the software window.
  3. From the Add Printer window, click the Add button.

Select your Printer in the Visitor Aware Desktop Application

  1. Open the Visitor Aware Desktop application.
  2. Navigate to the Printer Settings tab.

  1. Click the radio button for Dymo_LabelWriter_450.
