Visitor Aware software works with multiple printer models and we never require anyone to purchase proprietary hardware. Our software will work with your current onsite hardware or please feel free to use your preferred vendor to purchase new hardware.
There are a couple ways to implement your badge printing process. There are wifi enabled printers as well as cable connected printers that will work with our software.
Please note: Brother QL series wireless badge printers require 2.4 GHz wireless networks and do not work on 5 GHz wireless networks. Please double check your network configuration to make sure the wifi enabled label printers will work with your wifi network.
Wifi Enabled Badge Printers
If you're interested in wireless badge printing, the following badge printers will accept a direct badge print from Visitor Aware's dedicated iOS check-in application:

Cable Connected Badge Printers

Supported Badge Labels
If you're printing directly from our iPad check-in application to a wifi enabled Brother badge printer, the following labels are explicitly supported:
- Brother DK-2251 (red/black)
- Brother DK-22513PK (red/black)
- Brother DK-2205 (Black)
If your printing setup includes a cable connected badge printer with out Print Helper downloaded and installed, the following labels are supported:
For the Dymo brand badge printers:
- Dymo 30857 LW
For Brother brand badge label printers:
- Brother DK-2251 (red/black)
- Brother DK-22513PK (red/black)
- Brother DK-2205 (Black)
By using the Print Helper application with a cable connected printer, there may be some flexibility with what badge labels may be utilized. Proceed with caution and only purchase the bare minimum printer rolls to test with before purchasing in bulk.
The badge label size requirements to be able to print are 2.4 x 4 inches.
