In this article you’ll learn how delivery people, for example, for food or package delivery, use the kiosk application on an iPad (or iPhone) to notify recipients of the delivery. 


Note: Users with an active account in the Visitor Aware application can receive an email notification for a delivery from the kiosk app. Students and visitors cannot.


You may receive questions from package delivery professionals and need to direct them when using the kiosk app to check-in.  If you haven't yet done so, please download and install the Visitor Aware application on your iPad from the Apple App Store.


Note: You may also use an iPhone with the Kiosk application, however, for an optimal experience we recommend the use of an iPad.


Steps

Log in to the Visitor Aware application on your iPad. 


Note: The delivery person completes the following steps on the iPad. Delivery check-in actions include typing the name of the recipient and notes (optional) in the kiosk app. 


Delivery

The Delivery button in the kiosk app provides a way for a delivery person to notify a recipient of a delivery, and add an optional note.  

  1. Tap the Delivery button.
  2. In the Search bar, begin to type the name of the recipient
  3. Tap the name
  4. Type a message for the recipient. (Optional)
  5. Tap the Notify Recipient button.

    

A message appears on the screen to verify a message has been sent.
