Dismissal Manager helps administrators and teachers safely and accurately manage student dismissals by assigning and tracking how students leave school, for example, by bus, carline, parent pickup, walker, or to attend after-school programs. 


This document serves as an implementation guide for your new paperless dismissal system, Dismissal Manager. To streamline the process, we've attached two documents to assist you in communicating with parents or guardians:


  • The first document, Using the Guardian Portal, provides instructions for accessing and using the online portal to assign students to their default dismissal types and for submitting attendance changes and notes. 
  • The second document, Guardian Portal FAQ for Parents and Guardians, presents similar information in an FAQ format.


Schools and districts can use these documents as is or create their own instructions. You may choose to print these documents and include them in orientation packets at the beginning of the school year, attach them to introductory emails, or use an alternative method.


Encourage parents and guardians to bookmark the login page for the Guardian Portal, as suggested in both documents.
