The Hall Manager Reports provide administrators and teachers with tools to analyze hall pass data, monitor student movement, and identify trends in missed instructional time. You can view this data aggregated in three different ways: by student, by destination, and by classroom. These reports help you understand how hall passes are being used, pinpoint potential issues, and ensure students are maximizing their time in class.

Follow these steps to access and use the Student, Classroom, and Destination reports.


To get to the reports section:

  1. From the left navigation panel, navigate to Hall Manager.
  2. Click on Reports.

Filtering, Sorting, and Viewing Data

The reports provide several tools to refine and interpret the data. Each report tab aggregates the hall pass data in a unique way:

  • To view the reports, click one of the following tabs: 
  • Student Reports
  • Destination Reports
  • Classroom Reports
  • To filter the data for a specific date period, click Select a Date Range
  • To view data for all schools or a specific location, click the All Locations filter 
  • To sort the data from highest to lowest and vice-versa, click the column headings, such as Missed Instructional Time, and Average Time Per Pass 
  • To view trends in missed instructional time, view the dynamic chart on the page that shows missed time over the selected date range for the selected location. 
  • The blue line represents the Total Missed Time
  • The red line represents the Average Time Per Pass
  • To hide or unhide the graph line on the chart, click the associated line 
  • To export the data currently shown in the table as a CSV file, click the download icon

Student Reports


This report aggregates pass data by individual students. It allows you to see who uses passes most frequently. The table includes the following information: 

  • Name: Student’s name
  • Total Passes: Total number of passes the student used during the given time period
  • Missed Instructional Time: The total instructional time the student has missed due to being out of the classroom. Offers the ability to pinpoint the students who take out the most passes, and the students who miss the most instructional time overall, etc.
  • Average Time Per Pass: The average amount of time the student spent using hall passes for the time period
  • Location: The location, typically the school name

Click the View Details icon to see a full list of an individual student's passes for the date range you select. 


Destination Reports

 


This report aggregates pass data by the destination (e.g., Front Office, Gymnasium), helping you understand traffic patterns. 


The table includes the following information about the school’s destinations defined for hall passes:

  • Name: The destination name
  • Total Passes: The total number of hall passes approved/issued for the given destination
  • Missed Instructional Time: Identifies the time spent in hall pass destinations. Offers the ability to pinpoint destinations where students spend the most time, and where students miss out on instructional time the most.
  • Average Time Per Pass: The average time per pass for the destination
  • Location: The location, typically the school name


Click the View Details icon to see a list of all passes issued/approved for a specific destination.


Classroom Reports 

This report aggregates pass data by classroom, which helps identify trends specific to a classroom. 


The table includes the following information about the classrooms:

  • Name: The classroom name
  • Total Passes: The total number of passes issued or approved to go to a destination from that class
  • Missed Instructional Time: Identifies the instructional time missed in classrooms and spent in destinations. Offers the ability to pinpoint classroom passes with the highest loss of instructional time.
  • Average Time Per Pass: The average time spent per pass away from the class
  • Location: The location, typically the school name

Click the View Details icon to see a list of every pass issued from a specific classroom.
