If you have not yet done so, download the Visitor Aware desktop application, named "Print Helper", for Windows from This Link. It can be installed on Windows 7, 8, or 10.

If you're using a Macintosh, go to https://app.visitor-aware.com/download-desktop/mac and download the Visitor Aware desktop application.

To download the desktop application for your operating system, click your name in the top-right of the Administration portal, and select Print Helper.

Note: We recommend that you assign one desktop application per location.  If more than one Visitor Aware desktop application is open with the same location selected, multiple copies of visitor badges will print. Please designate one desktop application and printer per location.

1. Dashboard

This is the first screen that you will see after downloading, installing, and signing into the application. There are some additional instructions listed on this screen that you will want to read through before continuing on to the other screens.

2. Print Options

Within the "Print Settings" screen, you will be able to select the printer to which you would like badges to print. After selecting the printer, you can continue on to select your location.

3. Locations

This screen allows you to select the location that you would like visitor badges to print from - be sure to have the correct location selected or you will get visitor badges from the wrong location printing from your printer. If the badge isn't printing properly, please read our "Badge Size Setup" article for assistance.

4. Logout

Logging out of the desktop application will sign you out of the visitor aware desktop application, and badges will not be printed.
