If your account is associated with a client that has Single Sign-On enabled, the log in flow will automatically redirect you to the appropriate provider and URL, however, for some users that may not be ideal.

Users such as manually created users associated with kiosk logins that may not have access or a formal account in the provider (Okta, ClassLink, Azure, etc...), and any other user that needs to be able to sign into Visitor Aware using a password instead of being automatically redirected to your provider can be excluded from this process by performing the following steps:

  1. Edit an existing user's account, or create a new user (https://app.visitor-aware.com/users/create)
  2. If your client account has an enabled SSO connection, you'll see an option to "Override SSO?" on the user details tab
  3. Set this to "Yes"
  4. Save or update the user

Now when the user attempts to log in using https://app.visitor-aware.com/login, they will be prompted for a password rather than being redirected to your single sign-on.

The user may still log in using the "Login with Google", "Login with Classlink", and any direct single sign-on URLs, and this workflow only applies when logging in using an email address directly on the login page.
