To authenticate using ClassLink (Single Sign-On), the configuration must be enabled within your ClassLink portal and then added to Visitor Aware.

Similar to configuring the ClassLink SIS sync with Visitor Aware, within ClassLink, you will need to have the Visitor Aware App installed and enabled.

Setup:
You will need to gather the following from your ClassLink Instance:

  • Client / Application ID
  • Client Secret / Access Token
  • OneRoster Endpoint
    • Should end in "/ims/oneroster/v1p1"
  • Tenant ID

End user view:

Support/Third-Party View (ClassLink Partner Portal):

In System Settings > Integration Management > Single Sign-On, take those ClassLink credentials and populate them in Visitor Aware. Use the list below to ensure you're entering the values from ClassLink in the correct fields

  • Client / Application ID == client_id OR key
  • Client Secret / Access Token == client_secret OR secret
  • OneRoster Endpoint == endpoint_url
    • Should end in "/ims/oneroster/v1p1"
  • Tenant ID == Tenant Id
